Jeff Woodall
Jeff was born in London and raised in Hertfordshire, UK.
Throughout his childhood he developed an interest in music.
Following high marks in a school ‘Tone’ test at his secondary school, music lessons were recommended. So, of all the instruments to choose from – he decided to learn the drums!!
Before long he developed his own skills by teaching himself to play the guitar, soon after developed an interest in keyboards and synthesisers. After a period of experimentation, he concluded that the style of music he wrote naturally was in the field of ‘Chillout’ ‘Feelgood’ and ‘Uplifting’, although his musical tastes and influences include a wide variety of artists which include Pink Floyd, Genesis, Brian Eno, Mark Isham, Marillion, Vangelis, Moby, Boards of Canada, Doves, Faithless, Coldplay, Chicane, Deep Forest, Enigma, Keane, Jon Hopkins, Nelly Furtado, Bjork, Kate Bush, U2, The Prodigy, Radiohead, Paul Van Dyk, Oakenfold, Tiesto, Tears for Fears, ……the list goes on and on!
He has now written and produced twelve albums to date. The latest release being ‘Transcending’
Currently Jeff writes TV and Film production music and has over 500 tracks placed with TV production libraries worldwide.
Recent success was the use of a track co-written by Jeff and Jonathan Atkinson in ‘Paris Connections’ a movie adaptation of the Jackie Collins best selling Novel starring Charles Dance and Trudie Styler released in September 2010.
Jeff has recently collaborated with established and respected artists in the music industry including Jonathan Atkinson a well respected and established TV composer, My Electronic Things (MET) an elctronic musical virtuoso, Abhijit Pohankar a well known artist and composer in India and Bryan El a New Age artist from Belgium.
